14th May – 20th May is Coeliac Disease Awareness Week

For many years now we have offered  dedicated gluten free menus to diners who suffer from Coeliac disease, Chris’ style and methods of cooking lend itself naturally to gluten free alternatives he doesn’t use flours in sauces and making things from fresh we can control what is in the dishes, one of the reasons I love the alternative menu so much is we also offer an adapted sticky toffee pudding and many customers return just for that as they struggle to find it anywhere else.

We have also been able to source local gluten free beer from Carlisle Brewing Company which is going down well.

We always want to be as flexible and accommodating as possible with any dietary requirements and try to make every diner feel included.
